Award Winning Photo, He Brings Our Bread, Evan Richards, 1946

Evan Richards of Nott Terrace High School in Schenectady, New York won the top two prizes in the National High School Photographic Awards with this photograph of a bread delivery wagon in the snow, entitled “He Brings Our Bread.” It is reminiscent of Alfred Stieglitz’s 1893 photograph Winter, Fifth Avenue. This a truly unique original photograph.
